Short version: we keep what the service needs to work, we do not sell it, and apart from an ads pixel on the Studio Kit checkout pages, we do not track people around the web. Visits to flowery.co are counted without cookies and without keeping anything that identifies you.
Who this covers
Two kinds of people use Flowery: studios (florists with an account) and couples (people who use a studio's calculator, send an inquiry, view a proposal, sign, or pay). This page covers both. Flowery is operated by Hydrangea Bloom, LLC in Iowa.
What we collect from studios
- Account details: studio name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash by our sign-in provider).
- What you set up: prices, wording, colors, logo and photos, contract terms, email wording.
- Billing: your plan, subscription status, and a Stripe customer reference. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch Flowery.
- Usage that keeps the service working: sign-in times, errors, and the pages of Flowery you use.
Visitors to flowery.co
When you visit the flowery.co sales pages, we count the visit: the page, the website or app that sent you, any campaign tag in the link, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. Your internet address is never stored. It is mixed with the date and turned into a one-way code that changes every day, so a visit can be counted once but can't be traced back to you or followed from one day to the next. There are no cookies for this. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email and whether you already own the calculator, and use them only to tell you when Flowery opens.
What we collect from couples
- From a calculator or inquiry form: name, email, phone, wedding date, venue, Pinterest link, notes, the items chosen and the estimate range. These go to the studio whose site the form is on.
- From a proposal link: when it was opened, and any messages sent through the page.
- From signing: the typed name, time, internet address, browser, and a frozen copy of what was signed. This is kept so the contract can be proven later.
- From paying: the amount, date, and Stripe's reference. Card numbers go only to Stripe.
- A session record from the calculator (which items were tried, roughly how long) so the studio can see what couples look at. It is not linked to a person until they send their estimate.
How it is used
- To run the service: show a studio its leads, send a couple their estimate, show a proposal, take a payment, send a receipt.
- To bill studios and to keep the lights on: support, security, fixing bugs.
- We do not sell personal information, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it to train anything.
Studios and their couples
For couples' information, the studio is in charge of it and Flowery handles it on the studio's instructions. If you are a couple and want something changed or deleted, ask your florist first; they can do it from Flowery. If you cannot reach them, email us and we will help.
Who else touches the data
Flowery runs on a small number of well-known services, each used only for the job named:
- Supabase, the database and sign-in (United States).
- Netlify, the website and the code that runs behind it.
- Stripe, every payment, subscription, and payout. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
- Resend, sending email such as estimates, notifications, and receipts.
- Google Fonts, the typefaces on Flowery pages.
- Meta, only when someone buys the Studio Kit: the Meta Pixel tells Hydrangea Bloom’s ads that a checkout started and that a purchase happened. Meta has its own privacy policy.
We will give data to authorities only when the law requires it, and we will tell the studio when we are allowed to.
Cookies and storage
Apart from the Meta Pixel on the Studio Kit checkout and confirmation pages, Flowery does not use advertising cookies. Your browser keeps a sign-in token and a few preferences (like which view you last used) in local storage so the app works. A studio's calculator keeps the studio's published settings in the visitor's browser for a few minutes so it loads quickly. Nothing follows anyone to other websites.
How long we keep it
- Studio accounts: for as long as the account is open, then deleted from live systems within 30 days of closing and from backups within 90.
- Couples' leads and proposals: for as long as the studio keeps them. Studios can archive or delete at any time.
- Signed contracts and payment records: kept for the studio's records, since they may be needed to prove an agreement or a payment.
Security
Connections are encrypted, databases are protected by per-studio access rules so one studio cannot see another's data, and we never store card numbers. No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly.
Your choices
- Studios can see, change, export, and delete their data inside Flowery, and can close the account by email.
- Couples can ask their florist, or us, to see or delete what is held about them, within the limits above for signed contracts and payments.
- Every email we send on a studio's behalf has a reply address that reaches the studio directly.
Children
Flowery is for adults planning and running businesses and weddings. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will email studios before it takes effect. Questions: hello@flowery.co, or Hydrangea Bloom, LLC, Tiffin, Iowa 52340.
